উও জো ইক খয়াল থা

উও জো ইক খয়াল থা

তেজ ধার কী তরহ

কাটতা গুজর গয়া...

লহু কে কতরে-কতরে সে

উবল পড়ে থে জিস্ম পর

ঠণ্ডা পড় কে, বুন্দ-বুন্দ, পানী বন কে বহ গয়া

সব্জে কী তরহ খিলা হুয়া হ‍্যায় মেরী নজ্ম পর!!

ভাবনা ভীষণ বৈরী যত,

তীক্ষ্মফলা ছুরি'র ক্ষত

তপ্ত ধারায় রক্তে ভাসায়।

শান্ত হলে কবিতা হয়।

সবুজ, ভেজা ঘাসের মত।
